Our verdict: the Euchre app for tournaments and a competitive community.
Euchre.com matches you with players of your skill, runs knockout tournaments and leaderboards, and has a “Play with friends” room where you set the rules, including stick the dealer and Canadian loner. It works on your phone and in a browser. Like Euchre 3D, it runs on in-app currency: chips, with ads, a VIP subscription and an App Store simulated gambling rating.
Best for: competitive players who want tournaments and rankings.
What is Euchre.com?
Euchre.com is a Euchre-only app and website made by Casualino, the studio behind VIP Spades. It has a 4.7-star average from about 1,000 App Store ratings, and you can use the same account on your phone, tablet or browser.
Live games and tournaments
Euchre.com is built for live play against people:
- Matchmaking pairs you with players of a similar skill level.
- Knockout tournaments: four-player knockouts are always available. Win three games in a row and you collect three times your stake.
- Special tournaments open to unlimited players start at set dates, with a points leaderboard.
- Leaderboards, daily challenges and daily bonuses keep you coming back.
There’s also a global chat and in-game chat.
Private games with friends
In the “Play with friends” room, you can set up your own game and choose:
- the entry and prize, in chips
- a 24 or 32-card deck
- house rules, including stick the dealer and Canadian loner
That makes it a good fit for a regular group that wants to play its own way.
The App Store listing doesn’t mention playing against the computer. Euchre.com’s own site says practising against the computer helps beginners, so if that’s what you need, NeuralPlay or Tableza are clearer choices.
Chips, VIP and costs
Euchre.com is free to download, but games use chips. You get daily bonuses, and you can earn tokens by watching rewarded videos. The app also sells:
| Purchase | Price |
|---|---|
| VIP subscription, 1 month | $9.99 |
| Premium membership, 1 month | $6.99 |
| Chips and bundles | $1.99 to $39.99 |
The free version shows ads, and reviewers say VIP removes them. The App Store rates it 13+ for infrequent simulated gambling.
